Volunteer Coaching in Politics (VCP) brings world-class executive coaching - typically reserved for top corporate leaders - into the heart of Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations. Founded in 2011, during the Obama re-election campaign, the VCP connects seasoned leadership coaches with rising campaign leaders to provide powerful, confidential, one-on-one coaching - entirely on a volunteer basis.
Our Coaches
We are a volunteer community of over 150 senior executive coaches, two-thirds of whom have participated in multiple campaign cycles, combining deep political experience with leadership coaching expertise from the business and non-profit worlds. Our professional coaches, whose services are typically valued at tens of thousands of dollars per engagement, volunteer through the VCP because of their deep commitment to Democratic values and leadership.
